Privacy
This notice describes information handled when you read Conversion Handbook or email its editorial team.
Who publishes this site
Conversion Handbook is the public publisher identity. For privacy questions or requests about your correspondence, contact hello@conversionhandbook.com.
Reading the website
The site is hosted on Vercel. Its infrastructure processes connection and request information needed to deliver pages and operate hosting. This may include IP addresses, request details, and technical logs. Read Vercel’s privacy policy for its handling of personal information.
The production site can use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate visits, pages, and referrals. It is configured for the canonical production host only. Vercel describes this analytics product as using anonymized data without cookies; its Web Analytics privacy documentation explains the data and identification approach. Analytics availability depends on the service being enabled for this project.
PostHog readership analytics
We use PostHog on the production site to understand which pages people visit, referring websites and campaign tags, article reading progress and time, and clicks to external websites. Analytics also include browser and device information and approximate location. This helps us improve articles and navigation.
PostHog stores a randomly generated anonymous identifier in your browser’s local storage for this domain. Our analytics setup does not set cookies or connect that identifier across our other publication domains. We do not collect form values or email contents in analytics, and session recordings are disabled. See PostHog’s privacy policy for its processing practices.
Email correspondence
If you email us, we receive your address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. Public addresses use ImprovMX email forwarding and are delivered to an editorial mailbox hosted by Gmail. These providers process correspondence to forward, receive, and store it. See ImprovMX’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.
We use correspondence to respond, consider editorial feedback, handle corrections, and maintain relevant records. Keep sensitive personal or customer information out of unsolicited messages.
Retention and requests
We retain correspondence as needed to handle the request and maintain relevant editorial records. Hosting, analytics, and mail providers also operate their own retention arrangements. You can ask us to delete correspondence or clarify how a message is being used by emailing the address above. We may need to retain information necessary for an unresolved issue or a legal obligation.
